Required Tools
  • Cast Iron Skillet
Wet Ingredients
  • 4 eggs, room temperature is best
  • 3/4 cup of milk, room temperature is best
Dry Ingredients
  • 3/4 cups of all purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • Optional: Pepper and garlic powder to taste, i do a few shakes of each
Additional Ingredients
  • Herbs diced roughly: I like oregano, thyme, and scallion the best so far but it's whatever you feel like.
  • Parmesan
Additionally for skillet
  • 4 tbsp butter, half a stick
Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F leave your cast iron pan it to heat up.
While oven is warming mix the dry and wet ingredients separately and then combine them to make the batter
Add herbs after the batter is combined.
When the pan is up to temp put a half stick of butter in the pan and put it back in the oven.
When the butter is melted and it starts to smell a bit nutty take out the pan, swirl the butter around
Add the batter by pouring in the center
Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown
Don't open the oven while cooking for the baby will sag.
